ABSTRACT:
The paper presents a qualitative user study exploring information behaviour of graduate students. The author describes data collection, condensation and analysis. The proposed model consists of three types of gaps: topic selection gap, topic ignorance gap and literature collecting gap. Findings about a process of writing and concept of information habit are also presented.
