ABSTRACT:
In describing an approach to gathering user requirements that takes
into account real-life user experiences, Cheuk draws on Sense-Making
Methodology. The methodology was adopted by the British Council knowledge-management
team in early 2003 to define user requirements, inform the establishment
of a knowledge-management strategy and plan for an intranet-improvement
project. This paper reports on the author’s experience using the
approach in the British Council organizational context.
